It is a good idea to choose a PIN that you can remember, but would be difficult for anyone else to figure out. Names of pets, cars (ie..'57Chevy), or favorite foods are examples of good choices for a PIN. Combinations of upper and lower case letters, and numerals, are your best choices as these make your PIN more difficult for someone else to guess. (For example...use br0cc0li instead of broccoli, ab1ga1l instead of Abigail.) Names of family members, social security numbers, birthdays, common nicknames, etc. are NOT good choices as these can easily be discovered. Your PIN can be any combination of numbers and letters longer than 6 characters and up to 30 characters in length. (Special characters are not honored and the period character is not allowed.)
